Fatty Acids:
The shea butter, rose hip oil, avocado oil, and sweet almond oil provide essential fatty acids and ceramides that help the skin retain moisture. The stearin acid helps hold water in the lotion along with the oils so that your skin can gain the fortifying benefits of the oils while absorbing the moisture provided by the water.
Vitamins & Minerals:
Vitamin E oil, Aloe Vera, Mango Butter, and Grapeseed oil help protect your skin from free radicals that can occur from UV exposure. Vitamin E oil is also a powerful antioxidant that helps protect and cleanse your skin. Additionally, rosehip oil is high in vitamin A and C which aid in skin cell regeneration and helps exfoliate your skin.
Fortification:
Tea tree oil has great anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties that help heal the skin as well as combat oily skin and help retain oil and moisture balance. Grapeseed oil and Rosehip oil also play a large role in skin fortification. Collagen is essential for skin cell elasticity and firmness. And though your collagen levels naturally reduce with age, the high levels of vitamin A and C help promote collagen production and inhibit the creation of the enzyme that breaks down collagen.
Skin & Ink Tone:
Grapeseed oil contains a powerful antioxidant called proanthocyanidin that helps even out skin tone when applied regularly. Additionally, the many nutrients and antioxidants in Mango Butter help promote healing and increase the skin cell turn-over rate to help heal your damaged skin quicker. This will cause your new ink to maintain its vibrant appearance rather than fade underneath additional scar tissue.
Pain & Itch Relief:
The Lavender oil is a natural analgesic and anti-inflammatory and can help Provide pain and itch relief as your tattoo heals.
